Hybrid Window Systems Comes Of Age

Hybrid Window Systems are one of the first companies in the UK to set up a dedicated production facility for the manufacture of hybrid window and door systems. Like the name suggests, these products bring together the main attributes of two different materials in the form of PVCu and aluminium.

The result is a product range that benefits from the external face and endless possibilities of aluminium, with the energy efficiency and acoustic properties of PVCu. Hybrid Window Systems have chosen to partner with proven German systems company KÖMMERLING, with products from their highly regarded and performance-led System 76 suite.

New profile technologies and Passivhaus levels of performance feature across the range, which also extends to entrance doors and large span lift and slide doors. proEnergyTec is a unique process of providing PVCu profiles pre-foamed for incredible levels of energy performance and is fully recyclable within the sustainability credentials of the company, while proCoverTec is a revelation in surface finish technology.

The new high performance tilt and turn window range of AluClip Pro and AluClip Zero are aimed at discerning consumers, fastidious architects and building designers looking for genuinely exceptionally performing glazing solutions. With full CAD drawing and technical support, the company is eager to build on their considerable experience in commercial contracting.

Jim Kerr, managing director of Hybrid Window Systems commented: ‘We’ve set up a dedicated manufacturing facility in the UK to bring down lead times, control the product quality and provide better service levels to trade partners, architects and building specifiers. We are in no doubt that hybrid windows and doors will become ever more important in the UK glazing industries
